We have been studying different types of folk dancing and we decided to make a stop animation video of our learning. Students created leprechaun puppets and moved their body parts a little bit at a time to create our video. Enjoy!
**Third Grade: It was brought to my attention that one set of the homophones in the curriculum's guide is spelled incorrectly.** The list below is correct (four should be flour) and the list sent by email is incorrect
Since the class did such a great job writing persuasive letters to me or Ms. Camille, I decided that they deserved at least one item they were trying to get... PAJAMA DAY! So on Monday March 11th, everyone should wear their pajamas to school. But don't forget to bring snow clothes too, so everyone can go outside and get some playtime in the snow! Below check out our photos from our measurement projects. Students had to measure yarn from 1 inch all the way up to 12 inches. Then, they created artwork out of it and made sure to label each piece they glued down. Also, check out our line dancing video as well! Next week we need to sign our Master Agreements before March 8th. Come by the classroom between 8:30-8:45am, any day during the following week. You may have forgotten about it (I know I did), but as a school we signed up for the Six Flags Read to Succeed program. I sent home an individual reading log to each student to fill out and return to class. This program gives away a free ticket to Six Flags as long as they fill out a reading log. It is an easy way to earn something fun! Download the form below and then return to the classroom before March 6th. Fill out the log using any books you have read the entire school year.
Also do not forget to sign up for learning conferences. Click here to go to the post that allows you to fill out a form to sign up or use the google calendar.
