Chinese Chilled Noodles

Ring in the New Year with a delicious Chinese meal!

Ingredients

• 7 tablespoons sesame oil
  
• 7 tablespoons soy sauce
  
• 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  
• 4 tablespooons granulated sugar
  
• 12 scallions (green onions) sliced
  
• 1 pound cooked spaghetti (or rice) noodles​
  

1. Cook the noodles according to instructions on the package and refrigerate overnight
2. And adult can slice the scallions
3. Have children measure and mix the sesame oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and sugar into a bowl, along with half of the sliced scallions. 
4. Place the cold noodles into a large bowl and pour in the sauce. Invite children to use a spoon to mix the noodles and sauce until the noodles are completely coated in sauce.
5. Cover the noodles with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours. Garnish the chilled noodles with the remaining scallions and serve.
