Introduction
Land Ho!!!!
You have just landed on a strange and interesting land. There is so much to explore, but many things you do not understand. Thankfully, a group of natives have come to help you settle in this new land. The year is 1621 and you and your new friends will have a feast to celebrate each other for all that you have done. After this feast, you decide to write a letter to your friends in England to tell them all about the food you ate, what your new life looks like, and your new friends the Wampanoag.

You will do online activities to learn about the very first Thanksgiving. Your goal is to learn about the people who were at this feast, Wampanoag & Pilgrims.

Write a letter telling what your life is like in the New World. Your letter should be fun to read with lots of details that tell about what you learned. |
Picture Storyboard
Draw a picture story that sequences events that happened at the First Thanksgiving. BUT, tell a story from the point of view of the Wampanoag tribe. It is not the same as the Pilgrims |

Fill in the blanks with keywords that you learned in this webquest. You can color and then fold to make an invitation or card. |

Letter to England
1. Go on a journey to discover how your family traveled from England to the New World on the Mayflower.
2. Next, take a virtual field trip to the actual Plimouth Plantation
3. Read or listen (at the very bottom of the page you can listen to the story, look for the button in the right corner)to a letter from a little girl who lived in the village. This story gives you a chance to really visualize what it is like to be a Pilgrim in 1621.
STOP - Day 1 - Write your letter. Your letter should include at least three parts:
- Describe yourself as a pilgrim.
- Tell one event that happened during 1621 (with lots of facts or details).
- Explain what you hope the future of your plantation will be.

- Write a description of what is happening in your picture.
- Use lots of detail in your picture. The whole box should be full of color and "action!"
