Back to School Night 17-18

Thank you so much to everyone who could make it to Back to School Night. There was so much to cover, so I hope I covered it all. If not here is the slides that I went over. 

Just to review some of the big highlights  (in bold is what I may have forgot to mention):

• Volunteering
  • Pick up a drivers packet in the office to complete along with getting fingerprinted, DMV printout, insurance coverage page, and a copy of your license.
• Homework goes home every Monday in their KIT Binder. The KIT Binder should be in their backpack everyday to create a sense of responsibility for school items. The homework folder is returned on Friday in the KIT Binder. The KIT Binder will be sent home again on Friday with all of our school work from the week. 
• The yellow t-shirt will be for field trip and school pride days. I will request the shirt soon to put a class logo on it (TBD).
• Birthday Treats! Please bring small/mini cupcakes. Cookies and other treats are okay too. 
• Enrichment Dismissal time with be 1:25 pm starting August 21st. 
• Independent Study is requested 48 hours in advance. Be sure to remember that attendance is important to schools. Be prepared to meet with me after school before you go out on IS for vacation or home study.​​
