Week 2

What a week it has been! All of us got through our first full week, which means we now understand the procedures of small group reading time and math activities. We will perfect those next week as the students continue independent and group activities. Next  week we will continue our study of nursery rhymes and practicing the Alphabet.

Don't forget to sign up for volunteering inside the classroom or check out TBBC's event calendar (outside the classroom door) to get involved at a later date.

Check your student's backpack for any important papers and class work. It is important to bring a backpack every day since we will send home lots of information. Homework folders will be sent home on Monday of Week 3. Any papers that need to be returned back to school can be done in their folders. It is important to keep their homework folders in their backpacks every day to create a sense of responsibility. The homework box they made in class will stay at home so that they have all the supplies they need to complete homework.
